"A Few minutes with ...And Here's the Rest of the Story" in Grok

Opinion
Robert Gonzalez

The US Senate recently passed an extreme and unusual budget bill pushing to pass a massive tax-cut and domestic policy package. The budget returns to Congress for further Republican diabolical action. In response, we are channeling, from the afterlife, an open-minded, liberal-biased journalist who regularly spoke on the 60 Minutes TV news magazine segment, “A Few Minutes with Andy Rooney.” Also from the afterlife, we channel another 20th Century journalist-type, conservative Republican radio broadcaster, Paul Harvey, who courageously opposed two of his Presidents on important issues (Tricky Dick Nixon and Welfare Queen Ronnie Reagan). Consider this a séance via AI.

This Grok response from an AI founded by billionaire Musk also happens to be fighting with his $200M+ President. These Republican party labeled individuals would agree with what Grok assesses about the budget bill and would presumably be aghast at what they see as current Republican policies equating to authoritarian revolution in the USA, anti-democratic turn, and sadly homicidal consequences (Some estimates project 50,000 deaths per year attributed to the Medicaid cuts in the budget). Andy Rooney, as the liberal, of course, channels the humanitarian sensibilities of the Grok reply. Ultimately, the takeaway for us commoners is that this is all about the transfer of wealth that fuels the gluttony of billionaires and wealthy collaborators during a slow-motion coup. It ends with a well-articulated label calling the Budget Bill a Manifesto. Never a good word to hear.

Lastly, even Jean Kirkpatrick, an extreme right-wing foreign affairs maven who served Reagan, would wonder why Vance hates American working and poor people so much. He provided the tie-breaking vote that approved it for movement to Congress.
