The 2022 election cycle is coming to a close. There are many winners, many losers, and many races still too close to call. What does this mean for you?

Our local candidates had both victories and losses, but each ran a hardworking grass roots campaign and beat out the Democratic registration numbers so headway is being made.

Dear person who believes abortion is murder,

In a recent polling of delegates by the California Democratic Party, the number one topic was to find ways to improve messaging of our successes to the electorate. These delegates understood the need to advertise our positive contributions as a party and that we should improve how we do it.

On August 24, 2022, the Auburn Area Democratic Club Voter Outreach Team, led by Gail Barlow and Sandy Floyd, held their weekly voter registration drive at the Sierra College Quad to register voters and poll students on “what are the two main issues that would motivate them to vote.” This is what our future voters stated as their priorities for the upcoming election

"I don’t have kids in school anymore" OR "I don’t keep up with school politics anymore" OR "I’ve done my time volunteering and fighting systems in the schools, it’s time for the next group of parents to act"? Let’s debunk those rationales.

It is always important to vote always but it is especially impactful during low turn-out midterm elections.

The #DemocratsDeliver hashtag and slogan has been used by the Democratic Party nationally and here in California recently. You’ve probably seen it on social media or in your email. And, why not? It’s short, it’s sweet, and it’s accurate.

The Blue Wave Tides of our Democratic Party are rolling in a positive direction toward possible Democratic control of Congress in the coming November elections. Moving forward, Democrats must be united on all levels to continue this momentum working for the election of our candidates.
